ABP Youth Challenge shortlisted for FarmingLife19 Award

The ABP Angus Youth Challenge has been shortlisted for a Farming Life Award in the Best Promotional Initiative. The award is for the marketing initiative that has show-cased the industry and agriculture. We are delighted to have been nominated for this award which celebrates excellence in the farming & food sector.

This is the third year of the ABP Angus Youth Challenge, an agri-skills development programme funded by the leading meat processor ABP. We are starting to see the impact of the competition and the benefits it is having for young people come to fruition and we are delighted that it is achieving recognition within the agriculture and education sectors. We have eight school teams currently engaged in the programme. Entries are now open for more participants to compete for a place in the 2020 programme.

The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 24th October at a Gala Dinner in Belfast at which the winners will be announced.
